The uncertainty around Brexit continues this week in Parliament, with the government having postponed a vote on the Prime Minister’s negotiated deal due to be taken on Tuesday 11th December.

I took the opportunity to ask why, if the Prime Minister is allowed to change her mind from the morning to the afternoon, her government will not agree to a people’s vote to allow the people of this country a chance to have their say on the deal.

I have long been campaigning for a people’s vote, and have spoken up for this option in the media on many occasions. I believe the only way out of the current deadlock is to take the decision back to the people and allow everyone to have their say.
