We won. The Supreme Court has just delivered a comprehensive demolition of Boris Johnson. His suspension of Parliament was unlawful. This means the ‘prorogation’ is null and void and I can now go back and get on with my work on behalf of the people of Cardiff Central.

I believe that Boris Johnson must resign.

In his short time as PM, he has appointed a Senior Advisor who has been held in contempt of Parliament, lost 6 votes and has now been found to have lied to the Queen and prorogued Parliament illegally.

I want to thank our legal teams, to everyone who donated to the Good Law Project that helped us bring the case and to Joanna Cherry MP and Gina Miller who were our lead litigants. A job well done.

Meanwhile, I’ll be travelling back to Westminster tonight to carry on my work to ensure we avoid a disastrous no-deal Brexit.
